What’s your PHOTOGRAPHY style?

I like to think of my work as a fusion between both posed and lifestyle photography. Everything I do is very intentional. I try to capture natural moments that happen by using prompts in my sessions. I capturing details big and small and I aim to capturing moments that make you feel something.

When do you schedule sessions?

Portrait sessions are usually scheduled around sunrise or sunset. This is when lighting is best - when the sun is low in the sky and shines warm and softly on your skin. Sunset sessions start between 45min and an hour before sunset, while sunrise sessions start 5-10 mins prior to the designated sunrise time for that day.

I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready?

Galleries are generally completed within 2-3 weeks, but during busy season it can take up to 4 weeks to complete. Please know that I aim to get things out to you as fast as I possibly can. Weddings may take anywhere from 4 - 6 weeks until completion.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOST TO BOOK A SPOT?

No deposit is required to book your session. I do however ask that you notify me within 7 days if you are not able to make your session.

How do you accept payment?

My preferred method of payment is cash on the day of your session.

What is your equipment?

I shoot with a Nikon Z6II, and a Nikon D750 as my backup camera. I have various lenses and accessories in my bag.

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?

There is a $75 travel charge for sessions in North Side and Rum Point.

Do you retain all copyright?

All photos are for your personal use only. This means you may print and share the images as you please, however images may not be reproduced for commercial use. Copyright will remain with The Local Lens.

Can we have the unedited images or RAW’s from our shoot?

Unfortunately I do not provide my clients with RAW images. My work is my art. And much like a blank canvas, I use the RAW images to “paint” on..

How long is our gallery online?

Your online gallery will be available to you for a minimum of 6 months. Once it is close to expiring you will receive emails reminding you to make sure you have them downloaded.
